Automatically preview changes on Reconcile!

Simeon is a powerful tool that can streamline advanced and complicated actions across all of your tenants. This means you should carefully review your selections to ensure you understand the changes that will be made. To make this process as simple as possible, we now show a preview of all Reconcile changes by default! Now users will only see the Reconcile and Reset buttons on Reconcile. Pressing Reconcile will automatically show a preview of all changes in an easy-to-read list. When ready to proceed, simply press Reconcile again to confirm.

Platform Updates: Important changes coming soon!

  • In the coming weeks, Simeon will release a change to how we handle Service Principal Authentication. Currently, users can choose to install a tenant with Service Principal in addition to Delegated Authentication or Service Account. After this change, all tenants will install with Service Principal by default, and users will choose between Delegated Authentication and Service Account authentication for configuration types that do not support Service Principal. After this change is released, all existing tenants will pend approval to add a new service principal to the tenant. Syncs will continue to pend approval for this change until it is approved and the service principal is successfully deployed to the tenant.
  • Microsoft has introduced support for Company Branding using MSGraph. Simeon will be migrating Company Branding from AADIAM to MSGraph as a result of this change. In the tenant repository, Company Branding configuration files will now be located at MSGraph/Organization instead of AadIam/CompanyBrandings.
  • Due to recent changes in how Simeon handles Applications and Application APIs, you may see properties from these configurations being removed or added on export. These changes are expected and can be disregarded.‍
